What is the Green?
The Green Program is designed to give beginning cow horse exhibitors a fun and competitive environment to learn how to show a cow horse. As long as you are not a professional trainer and have not gone down the fence 3 times or more in a cow horse class, you can ride in the Green! There is no age limit or limit on previous horse experience.

The ORCHA is VERY beginner friendly. During the Green classes, you will often find several trainers on the fence, all helping out, coaching riders through the work. And if you want help from a trainer, just ask them, they are more than happy to help!! It's a very friendly atmosphere and we want everyone to be sucessful and have fun! And the best part, once you graduate out of Green II, you get a buckle!
